We just recently got a 7 year old orange tabby from the Port Hope Humane Society. When we first got him he was such a sick cat. We almost had to put him down because he just suddenly starts to starve himself and then he goes off and hides somewhere where he can die. Fortunately, my family and I all believe in wholesome and very natural food. When we saw that there was such a food as that in dry cat food we all got so excited. Since then he hasn't had any skin reactions or stopped eating. We will never ever NOT buy this cat food, it's the best food out their and the cats just love it. Hello. My name is Rags. I am an 18-year old seal mitted Ragdoll cat. In December 2005, I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Since I was 16 in December 2005, my owners weren't sure what to do as far as chemo was concerned. They thought I was too old to endure it...but I showed them my will to fight. Luckily, for them, they chose chemo and I lived to tell the tale/tail! I was given 4-12 months to live if chemo was administered and 4-8 weeks to live if I didn't receive chemo. During those months of chemo, I was very finicky about my food, more so than normal! In fact, I am a pretty picky eater, but I wouldn't admit that to my owner. When Wellness was offered to me, I ate it! Much to the delight of my owners, as you can imagine. December 2007 will mark 24 months since being diagnosed and I have had three surgeries since to remove tumors and check things out. My owners have opted for no more surgeries and in an effort to provide better nutrition to me; they discovered Wellness Complete Health, Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal and Rice Recipe! Hallelujah! I HATE CHICKEN! But I gobble this stuff up! I have no idea what it is that makes me like this stuff but my owners are thrilled (and heck, I was supposed to die 10 months ago according to the doc's prognosis). Since then my owners went and bought me the fish version of Complete Health (as I much prefer things that swim to those that walk on land). I am excited to try the fish version. Rumor has it that they bought be some Wellness canned food too. Thank you for making such a wonderful food! We got Benny the mackerel tabby from the pound and they recommended Wellness. I’ve been giving Benny the complete formula fish flavor and he loves it. I’ve never seen a cat with so much energy and such a nice shiny coat. Maybe too much energy to be exact. Benny is a short hair and we have no hairball problems at all. I just wanted to say how much the health of my cat has improved since switching to CORE. He suffered terrible cat acne all over his chin, despite the fact that we fed him another high quality dry food. We changed everything from his eating dishes to products we used and topical medicines to attempt to cure his chin acne. I didn't think it could be the food, since it was supposedly a high quality cat food, but after coming home and seeing his chin bloodied by his scratching of the sores, I was desperate and switched his food. The pet store recommended grain-free and I decided to give CORE by Wellness a shot since I was very impressed by the ingredients and the thoughtful approach of the company toward cat food. It has been about a month and his chin is no longer actively breaking out and the acne is healing very nicely. His fur feels amazing as well! It is so soft and silky whereas before he felt greasy. PT Cruiser weighed 20 pounds before we were able to find the right food for him. He didn't lose weight on any other weight control product, but Wellness Healthy Weight is doing the trick. He's still not down to a normal weight, but at least he's going in the right direction now. Riley is PT Cruiser's little sister. Since he is overweight, and she is normal. we feed them separately. We adopted Yuna last summer when she was tiny and only 2 months old. Louis (pronounced "Louie") and I have been together for just over 12 years. He's always been a big cat but he didn't get fat until he was about 8. I tried all the recommended diets by the vets but they never worked. I think he is diabetic & he's lazy & likes to eat. When I saw the new Healthy Weight formula I had to get it for him. At one time I had four indoor cats.  As with many older cats each of the first three in turn developed renal failure and even though I learned to give subcutaneous fluids at home they eventually succumbed to the disease after a few months.  Of course once diagnosed, in each case, the vet recommended N/F or K/D food.  Unfortunately all the cats disliked the food and did not eat well.  When my remaining cat, Scherzo, was diagnosed with the same condition at seventeen years old,  I related to the vet how much the other cats disliked the prescription food and asked him if there might not be an alternative.  He told me the owner of another of his patients had brought in a can of Wellness so he could look at the ingredients and he told me that it compared well in protein quality and balance of nutrients to the prescription food.  I found a store, The Doggy Bag, in Destin, Florida that carried the food, immediately started feeding it to Scherzo, and she loved it.  I have since moved to Melbourne, Florida and again found a supplier on the website.   I realized that the pleasures of older animals are simple and few - love, a warm place to sleep, and a good meal.  With the first three cats I found that when they no longer had food they enjoyed they didn’t eat enough to keep their strength up and, I believe, lost a lot of their joy in living.   With the Wellness food (and of course continued administration of fluids at home) my vet was totally amazed that not only had Scherzo’s condition not deteriorated but had, in fact, improved somewhat.  She has continued to purr along now for well over a year and though I know her time will come I believe that Wellness has not only prolonged her life but improved the quality of her life as well.  So I just wanted to offer thanks from myself and Scherzo. -  Dane G., Melbourne, Florida
